The Deer Mountain trail is located in Rocky Mountain National Park at the intersections of Hwy 34 and Hwy 36. It is a short trail, about 6 miles round trip to the top and back down. Although short, it is well worth the hike. Beautiful scenery, and a nice easy stroll through the mountains. Both times I have done this trail have been beautiful days, 25 degrees, occasional breeze, and snowing. Yep, to me that is beautiful weather!
