Pawnee National Grassland

The Pawnee National Grassland is located in Northeastern Colorado along Highway 14. Located about 10 miles east of Ault, the Grassland is easily accessible. One of the 20 National Grassland administered, this public land is yours to enjoy and preserve. Visiting the Grassland can be a unique and invigorating experience. A seemingly desolate wasteland, the Grassland is with a beauty of its own. Sweeping eastward from the Rocky Mountains is a land of grass: the Great Plains of America. The windswept Plains have witnessed the pageant of the frontier, the tragedy of the "Dust Bowl", and the wonders of modern agriculture.
